Sharon has been with the practice for over 20 years and qualified at Guys Hospital in London in 1977 and has been practising her skills for over 42 years. She has high personal integrity and able to relate to and create trust in both colleagues and patients.
Most of her career has been in general practice and she has developed an interest in working with nervous patients and the elderly.
A confident and persuasive team-member, she is able to motivate and communicate at all levels, with an attention to detail that is essential when planning, preparing for and carrying out her work and is sincere, professional and has a sense of humour.
She is also receptive to new ways of improving her skillsets and has completed extended duties enabling her to deliver Infiltration and ID block local anaesthetic, fit temporary dressings, temporary re-cement of crowns, root surface debridement, hand and ultrasonic scaling, fissure sealants, topical fluoride applications, acupuncture (for the alleviation of gag reflex) and is currently the Safe Guarding Lead.
